The Partigiani jacket is the result of our love for Neapolitan tailoring. The cut features a full canvas construction – the front of the jacket is supported from the shoulder seam to the hem by a single layer of natural, lightweight canvas. The shoulders are sewn in a spalla manica a camicia style, with the shoulder edges subtly rolled up, creating a delicate roll under which the sleeves are sewn. The high armholes provide incredible comfort and don't restrict movement, and the decorative gathers on the sleeve ball (grinze) are a deliberate effect. The breast pocket is a small boat (barchetta), and the patch pockets are sewn in an arc. The jacket has three buttons at the front, but only the middle button is fastened – the top button is hidden under the pressed lapel and is a decorative element of Neapolitan jackets. The front of the jacket is longer than the back, providing balance to the overall silhouette.
Fabric: This Italian fabric features a Glen Check plaid pattern, strongly associated with Scotland and tweed, but is just as phenomenal in its summery version! The airy weave and the addition of linen and silk ensure comfort, while the vibrant shade of blue will complement the blooming greenery and abundant sunshine.
Sizing Notes: Our quality control is very high, but please note that slight differences may occur between the product and the size chart. This is due to the extensive handicraft involved in the sewing process and the natural properties of the fabric.
Sustainable Product: Handcrafted in a Polish workshop by local tailors, in compliance with European Union labor standards and respect for the environment.
